1804 Slave Bill of Sale Listing Twelve Slaves by Name, along with Approximately 37 Maryland-Related Documents (Deeds and Wills), most late 18th and early 19th century, and relating to the Edelin family of Prince George's County, MD. Slave bill of sale between Charles Pye of Charles County, MD and Edward Edelen of Prince George's County, MD, listing "twelve negroes. to wit Charity, Nace, Walter, Sucky, William, Kitty, Harry, Patty, Cassy, Harriet Helon + Charles." Two documents related to Nicholas Stonestreet, speaker of Maryland House of Delegates (12/1816 - 12/1817). One a brief handwritten genealogy of the John Hanson family from the late nineteenth century. One 1704 will of Moses Jones of Prince George's county, mentioning slaves. In generally good condition, with some wear and other damage from age.
