Fine Baltimore Album Quilt, mid 19th century, with sixteen elaborate and colorful squares, including one depicting Baltimore's Washington Monument flanked by American flags and cannonballs, one with flowering urn and birds, one with pitcher and flowers, and several with profuse floral motifs. Provenance: Consigned by a descendant of the quilt's original owner. Extensive wear to fringe, fading, and staining. Dimensions: 84" x 82".
