National Bohemian Beer Advertising Globe, Crate, and Ephemera

Price Realized: $2,875.00 ($2,500 hammer, plus 15% buyer's premium).
Rare Milk Glass Advertising Globe for "NATIONAL BOHEMIAN" Beer, circa 1940-1960, milk glass body featuring advertising on each side for "NATIONAL BOHEMIAN" beer, along with a depiction of Mr. Boh, and the slogan "Oh boy, what a Beer". Base reads "THE NATIONAL BREWING CO. BALTIMORE, MD. (7)". Includes copper collar. Likely used at the entrance of a local bar. This lot also includes a “Drink NATIONAL BEER” wooden crate and an unopened package of “NATIONAL BEER” character decals. Globe with scratches to glass on one side. Some touch-up to yellow paint on metal frame surrounding advertising on each side. Advertising on globe survives in remarkable condition. Crate in excellent condition. Decals unused. H 17 1/2” ; W 16 1/2”.
