Very Rare APALACHICOLA BAY, Florida, Oyster Tin, 20th century, depicting an American Indian gathering oysters in a boat along with the inscription "Chief NICCO knew where to gather them." Advertising reads "Famous / APALACHICOLA BAY / OYSTERS / HAND TONGED FRESHLY PACKED / by / KIRVIN BROS. SEA FOOD / APALACHICOLA, FLA." Underside impressed "STEEL & TIN PRODUCTS CO / BALTIMORE, MD." Some shallow dents and minor wear. H 7 1/2".
