Buyer's Premium

A buyer's premium of 20% (discounted to 15% with payment by cash or good check) will be added to the hammer price of each lot. In other words, if a lot is hammered down to you for $1000, and you pay by check, the amount you pay is $1150.

All Property Sold As-Is

All property for sale is sold AS-IS with no guarantee whatsoever, and all sales are final. We have made every attempt to catalog each item as accurately as possible; however, although we do not believe so, there may be inaccuracies. We encourage prospective buyers to inspect each item personally and make their own judgment. We will absolutely not accept any returns for any cause whatsoever.

Payment

Payments must be made by cash, good check or by a valid Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. Those not known by us must provide a bank authorization guaranteeing their check. We reserve the right to hold items purchased until funds have cleared the bank.

Sales Tax

Maryland sales tax of 6% applies for items shipped to or picked up in Maryland.

Estimates

A conservative estimate is listed with each item’s description. Only 1 lot (#420) in our 12/3/2011 auction carries a reserve.A reserve is a confidential minimum price established between the auctioneer and consignor, and it will never exceed the low estimate printed in the catalog. Aside from the aforementioned lots, all items are sold absolute / unreserved.

Shipping

If you are a successful absentee or phone bidder, we offer full-service packing and shipping to deliver your items to you. In the case of oversized items or furniture, we will put you in contact with a local shipper.
