Rare Molded Redware Mask-Spouted Pitcher, Stamped "J. FRITZ," probably John Fritz, Lancaster County, PA, mid to late 19th century, octagonal pitcher with molded and hand-incised mask spout, the surface covered in a streaky lead-and-manganese glaze. Underside impressed in raised letters "J. FRITZ". Horizontal crack at base of handle. Approximately 4" tight crack from rim on reverse. Small chips to spout and rim. H 8 1/4".
