Price Realized: $575.00 ($500 hammer, plus 15% buyer's premium).
Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Chick Waterer, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, with tooled finial and applied watering trough, the trough and shoulder decorated with brushed cobalt foliate designs. Hairline to base, extending approximately 3" onto underside. Chips to top edge of trough. Glazed-over chip to top of knob. Two chips to lower section of knob. H 9 1/4".
