THE COMPLAINT: OR NIGHT-THOUGHTS Book by Dr. Edward Young, Lewistown, 1804, with hand-written 1863 letter on interior referring to the book's original owner, which reads "The Reverend Nathaniel Greaves of M.E. Church died at his residence one year ago, about two miles above Falmouth near the Rappahannock + left his farm of 300 acres to his son 17 years of age. . + to a negro . . . about 84 years." Wear to cover. Heavy foxing to interior. Tears to some pages.
