Folk Art Portrait of a Lady, American, Dated 1839, oil-on-canvas depicting a woman in blue dress with brooch, earrings, and shawl. Dated "1839" in lower left. In 19th century gilt frame. Significant losses to paint. Reglued chip to frame. 30 1/2" x 26 5/8".
