It was very unusual for Donaghho to produce stoneware stencilled with a name other than his own. This piece would make an interesting addition to a West Virginia stoneware collection. Made c1870. |

A crack extends from about 2" above the name, down the side, and splits into a tight Y on the bottom. A chip on the lip, which is clearly glazed over and happened in the making. |
