This one gallon cream jar is stenciled across the front HAMILTON & JONES. GREENSBORO, PA. Between the two lines of writing is a finely stenciled bird holding a leafy garland in its mouth. Additional stenciled flourishes flank the bird and the words "HAMILTON" and "JONES". A nice example of popular Greensboro stoneware, in a desirable small size with unusual stenciling.
