Item #SXRX01 |

| Description: |
Exceedingly rare yellow and brown glazed (with tiny unintended traces of green glaze) redware footwarmer. This very unusual piece was possibly made at the Bell or Eberly Pottery of Strasburg, Virginia, c1890. There are three small traces of green (copper) glaze which obviously touched this piece before it was placed in the kiln for firing. If the green glaze was as prominent as the yellow and brown glazes, this piece could be considered multi-glaze and more easily attributed to either Bell or Eberly. |
