Nicely thrown small pitcher, made in Strasburg, VA., of the Shenandoah Valley, probably at the Samuel and Solomon Bell pottery. Heavy and thick pitcher, typical of Shenandoah Valley pottery. Decorated around with 3 groups of swags; sides of spout and handle ends also decorated. |
