Description:

Rare small-sized pitcher measures just under 4 ¾" tall. Outstanding bulbous form with incised lines on collar and body. This example has an extruded handle and footed base. Lead-glazed redware with manganese splotches. Origin: Pennsylvania, c1840.

Size:

4 ¾" tall. 2 7/8" at base.

Condition:

Wear along collar and spout. Less significant wear to right edge of handle. Significant wear to inside.
