| Description: |
This small-sized cooler is decorated with a slip-trailed, bright cobalt blue stylized leaf decoration on the front, and a slip-trailed 1, indicating the 1 gallon capacity, on the back. The bung hole is also decorated all over with slip-trailing. The cooler is nicely thrown, with extra incising on the shoulder and under the rim. It was made in either Pennsylvania or New York State, c1860. |
