Description:

This 1 gallon ovoid jar is incised with folky flowers and leaves on one side, a folky tree on the other and deeply incised lines at the rim. It was made c1820, in either New England, New York or New Jersey.

Size:

9 ¼" tall.

Condition:

Glaze pitting; one side only slight, the other side extensive. Base has severe roughness. Rim chips.
