Description:

Hard-to-find potter's mark J.H. DIPPLE PA LEWISTOWN. Nicely decorated with cobalt blue drooping flowers and leaves right under potter's mark. Signed Dipple stoneware is scarce and a 1 gallon decorated jug, as this is, is more difficult to find than large decorated Dipple pieces. The impressed name, size and nice decoration make this piece exceptional.

Size:

10 ½" tall.

Condition:

Near-mint condition. The only flaws are one small rim chip and two small stone pop-outs done in the making, one on the bottom and one on the back.
