Very brightly decorated milk pitcher with a desirable small size, made in Baltimore, MD, c1860. A bright cobalt blue floral motif decorated the front, collar and spout of this pitcher. This small size is difficult to find and not often seen with Baltimore stoneware. The decoration, although seen on Baltimore crocks, was not routinely used on Baltimore pitchers. |

Very tight lines on the left side and bottom, as seen in the photos. The lines may have been sealed since the pitcher rings perfectly when tapped. |
