| Description: |
This attractive stoneware storage jar was made in the Mid-Atlantic region, probably Baltimore, circa 1860. It is decorated with a series of cobalt swags accented by five hanging flowers over a light gray body. The jar is nicely formed with detailed rim molding and an incised line that runs through the decoration. A good starter piece or nice addition to any collection. |
