This classic Baltimore 3 gallon storage jar is nicely decorated with elaborate cobalt blue floral decoration on both the front and back. The ears are profusely decorated and are unusually deep to allow for a better grip. Deeply incised lines decorate the area beneath the rim. This crock has a clear, deeply impressed 3 gallon capacity mark on the front and was made c1860. |

A few very tight lines on the bottom; 2 extend up the side about halfway. These lines are very tight and thin and the jar rings true when tapped. Also, two small rim chips. |
