Bright cobalt blue flowers and leaves decorate this large, very ovoid jar all around. Profusely decorated under both handles. Handles are folky and very simply applied. Large 3 gallon capacity mark. This beautiful jar is attributed to Hugh Smith of the Wilkes Street Pottery in Alexandria, VA., and was made c1830. |
